(CERRITOS, CA - September 25, 2006) - Aspen Education Group's Copper Canyon Academy, an Arizona-based residential boarding school for girls, was featured September 22 on the nationally syndicated "Dr. Phil" show. Dr. Phil had previously selected Copper Canyon Academy as part of a comprehensive therapeutic solution for a troubled, runaway teen who was featured on the program in February 2006.

Amanda's mother, Linda, sees a positive change in her daughter. "I'm thankful to the Dr. Phil show for helping me find Amanda. Seeing Amanda doing so well just gives me . it just makes me cry. I'm just very proud of her."

Copper Canyon Academy - called "one of the nation's top therapeutic boarding schools for girls," by Dr. Phil "-is a licensed therapeutic boarding school that accepts girls ages 13 to 17 who are seeking to make positive changes in their lives and overcome challenges such as depression, anger, family conflict, substance abuse, or academic underachievement. Copper Canyon is noted for its unique equine therapy program that allows students to learn empathy and enhance self-confidence, and for its academic program, which is fully accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
