Teens arrested for posting fight on Facebook
By Staff Writer
According to the most recent Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance report, about one-third of teens said that they had been in at least one physical fight during the year before the survey. As technology becomes more prevalent in the lives of teens, many of these fights are making their way onto social media websites like YouTube and Facebook. Recently, two teens were arrested in Florida after a video of a youth being attacked was posted on Facebook, WBTV reports. Authorities said the video shows student David Howard punching and kicking a 15-year-old boy who appears to be unconscious. Howard's friend, Anthony Faiola, recorded the video. Howard is now facing charges of solicitation of gang activity, aggravated battery and resisting arrest without violence. Faiola will be charged with accessory after the fact and resisting arrest without violence, police told the news outlet. Teens who want to gain control of their aggression and avoid getting into physical altercations may want to consider enrolling in schools for troubled youths. The faculty at these institutions are qualified to help young adults manage behavioral issues while giving them a scheduled academic curriculum.
